Dear members and friends,
My name is Uzama Price. I am a board-certified behavior analyst specializing in autism, intellectual disability, and mental illness. I was elected board president on April 24, 2023. I am honored and grateful for this opportunity to serve in this role.

The association's five-year plan includes: More inclusive membership. Increased funding, active community engagement. Scholarships that make a real difference. Opportunities to share skills and expertise.
As a community, we have significantly supported newly arriving teachers from Jamaica in this area by purchasing furniture, bedding, household items, and back-to-school supplies. We help teachers and other newly arriving Jamaicans navigate the City, County, and State. There can be some cultural challenges in getting the necessary help, which we, as an association, can help elevate.
In 2024, JAG linked people to resources to meet their basic needs. We enjoy a great party but also knew how to extend a hand if possible. JAG members have offered to transport persons in need and help with job placement.
We have provided Scholarships to students of Jamaican heritage We desire to partner with other organizations, compile a membership directory to promote the organization, and generate additional funding to increase the scholarship prizes.
Everyone must support this organization, and your financial support is appreciated. When you purchase a ticket to attend our various events, you are contributing to our charitable causes—we hope you will consider joining our efforts. We are excited about the future of the association.
Love, Light, and Joy! Uzama Price Ed.D., NADD-DDS, BCBA President of the Jamaican Association of Greensboro
