Our History
Thanks to the visionaries who established this organization, we continue to be a cornerstone in the Piedmont Triad area of North Carolina. Our founders envisioned a space where Jamaicans could unite, share memories, and contribute their time, talent, and resources for the greater good. We take pride in that, more than three decades later, the Jamaican Association of Greensboro still thrives, steadfastly upholding our founders' values, purpose, and mission. Our impact within our community and beyond is a testament to their foresight and our collective efforts. We salute our founding members!

A Real Irie time!
What a nice likkle vibes it was at our last Games Night! The sound of the dominoes slamming pon the table, a shout of "Six Love!" ringing out, and the whole place fulla laughter and friendly competition.
Between the games, we were feasting on chicken soup and jerk chicken.
But the vibes don't stop there! Now, we're turning up the creativity and the community spirit higher.
Come Reset, Rejuvenate and
Rebuild at our Sip-n-Paint! Inna di wake of Hurricane Melisa, we know a lot of us are feeling it. But as Jamaicans, we nevva give up! Wirise, wi stand, wi build again.
Dis Sip-n-Paint is more than just putting brush to canvas. It's a powerful gathering to unite, heal, and reclaim wi strength as one community.
While we're sipping and painting up a storm of our own, we'll also be sharing vital information on how you can roll up your sleeves and be a part of the recovery. Come get the full picture on: Meaningful projects weh yuh can join to help support and rebuild wi cherished island. Direct ways to lend a hand and make a real difference for yuh neighbour.
